Cafe Bella Dee located in San Souci, is the perfect corner café for you to unwind, dine and feel carefree (San Souci is a French phrase for free of care). This quaint cafe is owned by a sister and brother duo and offers diners an indoor and alfresco seating, perfect to soak in the sunshine amidst winter. We tried a variety of delicious all day breakfast items. With so many delectable options to choose from, if ever in doubt, order the Corn Fritters! These were thee best fritters I've ever had, packed with juicy corn kernels and great flavour combination.

    What I tried:
The French Toast: Brioche french toast with seasonal berries, vanilla-nut praline icecream, Canadian maple syrup and crumb
    .
The Corn Fritters: Smoked salmon, housemade labneh, smashed avacado, basil pesto, watercress and sweet pickled onion
    .
The Rosie Benny: Sourdough bread topped with poached eggs, baby spinach and housemade pink hollandaise sauce
    .
The Pretty Smash: Toasted sourdough bread topped with smashed avacado, tomato medley, feta, betroot cumin hummus and pistachio
    .
Açaí berry bowl: Toasted Maple Almond muesli, chia seeds, coconut, seasonal fruits, almonds and honey
    .
Coconut Chia Pudding: with yoghurt, roasted nuts, seasonal berries and honey

Such a lovely cafe, with food which could only be described as Instagram worthy.. the big difference is as well as look pretty it tastes amazing. Most food items were around $20 but the size is quiet generous. The smoothies were delicious however the milkshake was a little underwhelming. Would have loved some ice cream on my the pancakes too, I reckon that would 100% take it to the next level.

    Will 100% return

This cafe never fails to surpass my expectations, no matter how many times I go. We went for a quick Friday morning breakfast, arriving just before 9am. There was already a great atmosphere with the indoors area being full with customers. Considering how busy it was, we were still brought a menu immediately upon finding a table. The menu is very well balanced with a collection of your standard style cafe breakfasts, some healthy options & the chef's specials. However, it's not very often I don't build my own breakfast (a brilliant option on the menu) & grab a large skim Cappucino. However, if your not feeling a big breakfast, treat yourself to their "Scone in a Pot". A quite hilarious presentation of a large scone in a terracotta pot that comes with whipped cream & strawberry jam - great eating as well!

The coffees were on our table just barely after ordering them and the food shortly followed. I was truly impressed with the timely service of the food & coffee, which was complimented by the wait staff's cheerful attitude. As you could imagine, the food was great quality & absolutely delicious and the coffee is lovely there as well - outstanding on the service side.

The decor is very modern & classy with it's chic black & white theme. This is complimented by the cool jazz vibe sounding lightly from their radio. Overall, it's a great atmosphere inside combined with excellent food & service. At about $20 per head, depending on how hungry you are, this cafe is exceptional value for money. Always parking out the front on the street & (depending on the day & time) sufficient seating inside or out. We were in & out within 45 minutes, the majority of which was spent eating our lovely breakfast, sipping on a much needed Friday morning coffee & covering off entertaining yet useless topics of conversations - NOT waiting patiently to be acknowledged!

Bravo Cafe Bella Dee, thank you for the experience.

We love this little café. They make the best chai latte's on the planet. The food is great. The menu has great options for those with dietary issues. The staff are friendly and polite. The decor is lovely. There is plenty of parking. Such a lovely relaxing place to start the day.

My favorite Café in Rockdale area. I used to come here twice a week with my wife and baby. Always crowded but it's Oran friendly sitting outside.
